What We Believe

"Developing a passion for Christ by equipping disciples & reaching the lost."

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of Redeemer Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

God

There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise.  God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom,  justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who through His perfect life and sacrificial death atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him alone for salvation.

Scripture

We believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the revelation of God's truth and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice.

Mankind

Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creations.

The Fall

We believe that all are sinners and totally unable to save themselves from God's displeasure, except by His mercy.

Salvation

We believe that salvation comes by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

The Second Coming of Jesus

We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself.
